Spitfire Chassis

Here is one of my favorite drawings showing the "compressed" ladder frame of the Spitfire. This one is for a 67 Mk 3. The front hinges changed in the later models, and an extension was added to the rear of the frame for additional bumper support.

You can print this picture by right clicking on it and saving the jpg file. Then load the file into a graphics program (my favorite is Paint Shop Pro) and print it.
